Pack Fees

This pack is a non-profit organization.  Our pack runs from March 1, 2014 until March 31, 2015.  For new scouts joining in the fall, there is a registration fee to cover the prorated cost of registration, Boys Life Magazine, and pack expenses. Currently, this fee is $30.

 

In February, the annual registration (yearly) fee is due to the Boy Scouts of America (BSA).  Currently the fee is $55.00 (subject to change).  Charter fees are reduced $5.00 for the 2nd and successive sons.

 

The annual expenses are:

$24.00    BSA Registration

$12.00    Boys Life Magazine

$19.00    Pack Expenses (Specific to cost for running and ensuring a quality program for the scouts:  Scout Rank Badges and advancement awards, leadership registration, leadership training, paper/ink, etc.)

 

Our pack policy is not to collect weekly or monthly dues.  Miscellaneous expenses expenses are paid when incurred. For example, if the den is building birdhouses, each parent/guardian is responsible for his kit.

 

Other fees may include: Camping fees for Day Camp, Family Camp, and Webelos Residence Camp.  The Parent/Guardian are responsible for books, uniform, belt loops and patches.  (The spring fundraiser is specifically designed to help offset camp fees.
